The Zumratul Islammiyah Grammar Old Students’ Association of Nigeria (ZIGSOSA), is set to host its annual award and prize giving ceremony to honour outstanding students and staff in their former school in Igbogbo.
The award ceremony comes up on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the school premises.
According to ZIGSOSA, aside from recognizing students with exceptional performances, there will also be recognition for students that have represented the schools creditably in external competitions.
Also to be honoured are teachers with remarkable feats in both junior and senior sections of the schools.
Another important features of the ceremony is also the unveiling of new libraries donated by ZIGSOSA for both schools.
Late Mr Haruna Ilerika, former Green Eagles player, who was also a former student of the school would be honoured with a posthumous award.
